KING, PARIS B.Paris Bosang (Pete) King, age 89, a lifelong resident of Pulaski County, died Wednesday, February 19, 1992 in Pulaski Community Hospital. Born February 23, 1902 in the Little Creek section of Pulaski County, he was the son of the late William Davis King and Ollie V. Thompson King. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. He was a retired electric welder in construction. He was a member of Local Union #491 Plumbers and Steam Fitters. He was a member of the First Christian Church and was awarded a membership as a Colonel in the Honorary Kentucky Colonels. He was an ardent fan of the Pulaski baseball teams for the past 50 years and was an avid vegetable gardener. He is survived by his wife, Louise Whitt King; a daughter, Patsy L. King, Pulaski; a son and daughter-in-law, William P. King, Sr. and Sona King, Miami, Fla.; a sister, Mary Eula Millirons, Radford; a grandson, William P. King, Jr., Miami, Fla.; a grandson and wife, Joseph Michael and Bernadette King, Miami, Fla.; a great-granddaughter, Paris Elizabeth King, Miami, Fla.; two "special" grandsons, Jon Thomas Jarrells, Dublin; Jason Stanley Jarrells, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. W. David Parks and Rev. C. Maynard Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Thursday from 2:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will include Jon Jarrells, Jason Jarrells, Donald Jarrells, Emil Gore, James Cummings, Bill Shomaker.
