SIX LUTHERAN PARISHES serving the north and east areas of the Roanoke Valley will unite for Wednesday night Lenten devotions with a theme, "Visions of the Cross." The services will start at 7:30 p.m. for the following schedule: St. Paul on March 11, Emmanuel on March 18, St. Philip on March 25, Glade Creek on April 1 and Trinity on April 8. Each church will have its own Ash Wednesday worship on March 4.\ A HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HOUSE, constructed jointly by several Roanoke Valley Lutheran congregations, will be dedicated Sunday at 3 p.m. It is one of several such houses built on Miami Street, just off 13th Street Southeast. The house was a project of Lutheran Cooperative Ministries which raised money and arranged for volunteer labor.
\ WOMEN'S AGLOW, a group for women of charismatic Christian preference, will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a past presidents' luncheon Wednesday at the Woodmen of the World building, 2306 Peters Creek Road. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the meal starting at 11:30. Participants are requested to bring a salad or a dessert. A $2 donation will be received at the door.
