BOWER, MARY F.

Mary Frances Bower, age 70, died Sunday morning, February 23, 1992, in a Roanoke hospital. She was retired from Federal Mogul in Blacksburg and a member of Belmont Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Richard Bower, Riner; Larry Bower, Christiansburg; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Sandra) Bane, Christiansburg; one brother, James E. Bishop, Christiansburg; four sisters, Mrs. Jim (Helen) Roop, Riner; Mrs. Hubert (Ruby) Caldwell, Roanoke; Mrs. Ed (Opal) Weeks, Maryland; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, from the Belmont Baptist Church, conducted by The Rev. Tom Bonn, with burial in the St. Matthews Cemetery near Riner. Friends may call Monday afternoon at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg, and the family will receive friends there from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday evening.
