BURDICK, FRANCES E.

Mrs. Frances E. (Fran) Burdick, 73, of 1022 Plane Street, Middletown, Pa. and formerly of Roanoke died Monday at Hershey, Pa. She was a graduate of Andrew Lewis High School. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, a former Miss Roanoke Beauty Pageant winner and was a member of the Ogden Senior Citizen Center Bridge Club. She is survived by her former husband, William A. Burdick, Hudson, Fla.; one son, Ryan Burdick, Gathersburg, Md.; two daughters, Linda Russell, Grantville, Pa.; and Penny Burdick, Middletown, Pa.; one brother, Bernard S. Morris, Roanoke; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Oakey's Roanoke Chapel. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. There will be a viewing at the Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Harrisburg, Pa. Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Contributions may be sent to Hope Lodge, 636 West Lexington Street, Baltimore, Md. 21201 or the the American Cancer Society, 1500 North Second Street, Harrisburg, Pa. 17102.
