TAYLOR, ROLAND L.

Roland Louis Taylor, age 81, of 6420 North Barrens Rd., N.W., died Tuesday, February 25, 1992. He was a member of North Roanoke Baptist Church and a member of Maiden Masonic Lodge #592, Maiden, N.C. and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rites of Free Masonry and Oasis Temple Shine, both of Charlotte, N.C. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Taylor; one daughter, Mrs. Joan Taylor Chapman, Lively; stepsons, Charles E. Smith, Jarvisburg, N.C.; James N. Smith, New Holland, Pa.; Stepdaughters, Mrs. Nancy S. English, Roanoke; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, with the Rev. Dr. Darryl Crim officiating. Burial will be in Blue Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
