BALLENGEE, GLENN D.

Glenn D. Ballengee, age 82 of Pickaway, died February 24, 1992, in a Roanoke hospital. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula Bowden Ballengee; one son, Garland and wife, Betty Ballengee of Daleville, Va.; one daughter, Kathryn and husband, Tom Heldreth of Bluefield, W. Va.; daughter-in-law, Sally Ballengee of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Carrisson Ballengee of Ballard, W. Va.; Quentin Ballengee of Newton, N. C.; one sister, Vera Lemons of Alderson, W. Va.; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services Thursday at 12:00 noon at the Pickaway Methodist Church with the Rev. Dallas Forren. Burial in the Clayton Cemetery at Clayton. Graveside rites conducted by the Monroe Lodge #77 A.F. & A.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Pickaway Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Broyles-McGuire Funeral Home in Union, W. Va.
