RAMOS, DAVID R.David Randall Ramos, 45, died Tuesday morning, February 25, 1992 in a Roanoke hospital, following a long illness. Born in Matoaka, W.Va. on October 25, 1946, he was the son of Lucille B. Morris of Pearisburg and the late Jose' (Raymond) Ramos. He was a member of the Clendennin Jesus Church of Narrows, an employee of Appalachian Power Company and a Vietnam era veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia (Jeannie) Ramos Frazier. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Marshall Ramos, two sons, Roderick and Ariel Ramos, two daughters, Crystal and Melissa Ramos, all of the home; three brothers, Raymond Ramos and Glenn R. Ramos of Narrows; W. E. (Bucky) Morris of Pearisburg; four sisters, Frankie R. Vaughn, Phyllis R. Blankenship, Brenda R. Phillips, all of Narrows; Sharon M. Albert of Pearisburg; two half brothers, Raleigh Roberts of Roderfield, W.Va.; Rayse Ramos of Lima, Ohio; several stepbrothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Jesus Church of Clendennin, near Narrows with the pastor Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will be in Burchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
