WOMAN FACES 4 BURGLARY CHARGES
A woman was charged with four burglary and four grand larceny charges after Roanoke police arrested her Monday in connection with a series of burglaries in Southwest Roanoke.Rebecca Meadows Tyree, 24, of Mountain View Terrace Southwest, had been charged earlier with three counts of possessing stolen property.
Two men confessed to a string of more than 30 burglaries after their arrest last week.
Milton Ray Asbury, 22, and Waverly Cleveland Elmore, 22, admitted to committing 31 burglaries starting in December, in addition to two that police had charged them with.
Police declined to release more details, saying that the investigation is continuing.
