GILLISPIE, ANNA M.FERRUM - Mrs. Anna Mae Gillispie, age 64, of Route 2, died Wednesday, February 26, 1992. She was preceded in death by her father John Rice, Sr., and a brother, Junior Rice. Surviving are her husband, Carl Gillispie; her mother, Mrs. Mabel Rice of Roanoke; one daughter, Regena A. Gillispie of Rocky Mount; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Randall C. and Cindy Gillispie; Roger M. and Jackie Gillispie; Cary D. and Gaye Woody; David P. Bower, all of Ferrum; one granddaughter, Chelsea A. Gillispie; one grandson, Joseph R. Gillispie; three sisters, Emma R. Grant of Salem; Ruth R. Clements, Betty R. Watson, both of Roanoke; three brothers, Paul Rice of Sealston, Virginia; Clarence Rice of Christiansburg; Bill Rice of Blacksburg; one sister-in-law, Geneva G. Moore of Ferrum; a special friend, Tammy Mulkey of Rocky Mount; and many friends and family members. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Lynch Chapel by the Rev. John Ingram and the Rev. J. D. Harmon. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, after 2:00 p.m. Thursday, where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
