GENERALS WIN LACROSSE OPENER

Nationally ranked Washington and Lee opened its men's lacrosse season with a 25-8 victory over Greensboro College on Wednesday at Glen Maury Park.

Jeff Roberts had four goals and four assists, and Colin Higgins and Drew Anton had four goals each to lead the Generals, ranked eighth in the NCAA Division III preseason poll by Lacrosse Magazine.
