ATKINSON, MARY E.

SHAWSVILLE - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Atkinson, age 79, died Wednesday, February 26, 1992. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Neece, Elliston; Mrs. Anita Cooper, Salem; Mrs. Glenna Fitzgerald, Roanoke; three sons, Ronnie M. Atkinson, Elliston; Elwood Atkinson and Charles L. Atkinson, Christiansburg; two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Akers and Mrs. Grace Amos, both of Elliston; two brothers, Dayton Vest, Shawsville; Edgar Vest, Dublin; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Booth officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home, Elliston.
