PRICE, NELSINE S.

Mrs. Nelsine Spangler Price, age 84, of Charleston, S.C., formerly of Salem, Va., died Friday, February 28, 1992. She was born October 10, 1907, in Lurich, Va. She was a retired school teacher, having taught at Clearview, Conehurst, Academy Street and Green Valley Schools. She was a member of Salem Chapter #161 Order of the Eastern Star and a Worthy Matron from 1969 to 1970 and an organist. She was also a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority and Thursday Morning Music Club and a member of Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Robert Howell Price, Jr., Columbia, S.C.; a daughter, Dillie Marie Shorter, Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Claude Clay Spangler, Jr., Holden, W.Va.; six grandsons; two great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Salem Baptist Church Sunday, March 1, 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
