FISHER, JAMES H. RADFORD - James Henry Fisher, age 72, passed away Saturday, February 29, 1992, at his home in Radford. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and a retired supervisor of the machinist shop at RAAP with 33 years service. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Clara B. Fisher, Radford; three sons, Earl Fisher, Radford; Dale Fisher, Knoxville, Tenn.; and Ronnie Fisher, Lynchburg; three daughters, Mrs. William (Karen) Sampson, Max Meadows; Mrs. Tim (Susan) Adkins, South Point, Ohio; and Mrs. Michael (Linda) Roop, Radford; three sisters, Mrs. Mary F. Rapisarda, Richmond; Mrs. Frances F. Hubbard, Fla.; and Mrs. Louise F. Rasmussen, Arlington; three brothers, Edward E., Charles R. and Frankie W. Fisher, all of Radford; eleven grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church Youth Group or the New River Valley Hospice, 1806 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, Virginia 24060. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Seavers-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
