PRATT, STUART S. DRAPER'S VALLEY - Stuart Sayers Pratt, 85 of Draper's Valley, died Saturday at his home. He was born in Draper's Valley on December 4, 1906, and was the son of the late Charlie Sayers Pratt and Ruby Honaker Pratt. Mr. Pratt was a retired employee of Farm Credit and was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. Mr. Pratt was a life-time member and trustee of the Draper's Valley Presbyterian Church. Surviving are wife, Jane Casteel Pratt, Draper's Valley; son and daughter-in-law, Don and (Bennie) Kelley Pratt, Draper's Valley; one sister, Jean Harris Pratt, Draper's Valley; three grandsons, SFC Stuart Pratt, Sierra Vista, Arizona; Dean Pratt, Draper's Valley; Glenn Pratt, Dublin; four great-granddaughters. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. from the Draper's Valley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Preston O. Sartelle, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visiting will be held Sunday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Draper's Valley Presbyterian Church, Route 1, Draper, Va. 24324.
