NO MORAL JUDGMENT OF WOMAN'S RIGHT

THE LETTER Jan. 29, "Pro-choice equals pro-abortion," angered and disappointed me. The right of a woman to control the functions of her own body is solely her business. There is no place for moral judgment. If the right to choose whether or not to give birth is taken away, what individual rights will next be destroyed?

I pity the letter-writer's inability to see possible fateful precedents. Those who spend time volunteering for the homeless or advocating the protection of abused children and animals, rather than casting judgments on the decisions of others, truly earn the title of "pro-life."
