Martha Attaway Williams, age 83 of Roanoke, died Wednesday. She was the widow of Lonnie A. Williams and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Business Womens Bible Class. Surviving are two sons, John W. (Jack) Whitenack, Roanoke; Robert L. Williams, Fincastle; one daughter, Mrs. Martha Williams Glidewell, Concord, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. Pauline W. Lloyd, Salem; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Dr. Harry Y. Gamble will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
