Because of incorrect information given to the newspaper, the size of a stipend for foster grandparents in the League of Older Americans program was wrong in a story published Friday. The correct amount is $2.45 an hour.

All worker bees are females. In Friday's paper, the caption on a photo of a bee gathering pollen from a flower incorrectly referred to it as a male.

Because of a syndicated news service error, a People Column item in Friday's paper misidentified actor James Doohan, who played Montgomery Scott in the "Star Trek" series and movies.
