HIGHLANDERS SWEEP ALDERSON-BROADDUS

Radford ran its record to 6-2 Saturday with a baseball doubleheader sweep of Alderson-Broaddus College of Philippi, W.Va.

The Highlanders broke open the first game with four runs off relief pitcher Mitch Black in the sixth inning. Sophomore Tim Heise tripled in two runs and junior Rob Amos tripled in another. Amos was 3-for-3 in the game.

Radford won the second game behind the pitching of sophomore Brett Sutch.

The teams meet at 1 p.m. today at Dedmon Center Park. - Staff report
