KINZIE, DOROTHY F. NEWPORT - Dorothy Fringer Kinzie, 79, died Sunday
morning in a Blacksburg Hospital. Born in Newport, she was the daughter of the
late Arthur and Mary Alice Fringer Price. She was a member of Saint Pauls
Lutheran Church, Newport, until it closed and presently a member of Lutheran
Memorial Lutheran Church, Pembroke. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Lewis W. Kinzie and a son, Gerald L. Kinzie. She is survived by a son and
daughter-in-law, William and Clara M. Kinzie, Newport; two grandchildren,
Angela and Lisa Kinzie, both of Newport; one brother and sister-in-law, James
R. and Annette F. Price, Newport; one sister, Edith P. Sloop, Towson, Md.; two
sisters-in-law, Levera Price, Columbia, S.C.; Mary Kinzie, Roanoke; a close
neice, Melanie Rader, Newport and nephew, J. D. Price, Newport. Funeral
services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Lutheran Memorial
Lutheran Church, Pembroke with the Rev. Denise W. Gillespie and the Rev.
Auburn Bowers officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Hollow Cemetery,
Newport. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home,
Pembroke, Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family
suggests that contributions be made to the Clover Hollow Cemetery Fund in C/O
Norris Stiff, Treasurer, Newport, Va.
