Katherine Finley Fagg, 84, of 928 Mulberry Rd., died Monday, March 9, 1992 in a Martinsville Hospital. Born March 14, 1907 in Martinsville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Martin Finley. She was a graduate in Violin of Sullins College, Bristol, Va., and afterwards attended Peabody Conservatory of Music, in Baltimore, Md. While there she was an active member of Alpha Mu, a National Musical Sorority. She was the widow of the late Robert James Fagg. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Martinsville. She is survived by a son, Robert James Fagg, Jr. of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Francis T. (Katherine) West, Jr., of Moneta, Va. and six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas J. (Ellen) Andrews and Mrs. H. K. (Virginia) Whitener of Martinsville, Va., and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Martinsville with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery, Martinsville with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery, Martinsville. The family will receive friends Tuesday, at McKee Funeral Home from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Dr. Thomas McCann will officiate. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 23 Starling Ave., Martinsville, Va. 24112. McKee Funeral Services, Martinsville, Va. is in charge of the arrangements.
