Mrs. Mary Stebar Lyle, age 64, of 4437 Lewiston Street, N.W. died Monday, March 9, 1992. She was a saleslady of Old Mill Women's Apparel. She is survived by her husband, William E. Lyle; four sons, Gary E. Lyle, Mark D. Lyle, and Timothy L. Lyle, all of Roanoke; Tony R. Lyle, Troutville; two daughters, Becky L. Flippen, Blue Ridge; Gail L. Lyle, Salem; twelve grandchildren; one sister, Alice S. Dickerson; one brother, Albert R. Stebar, both of Roanoke. The funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, with the Rev. T.G. Ayers officiating. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday where the family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
