Lacy McClung (Peanuts) Miller, age 74, died Monday, March 9, 1992, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Mr. Miller was born August 16, 1917, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Lacy McClung Miller, Sr., and Mattie Ayers Miller. He was a member of the Broad Creek A.R.P. Church. Surviving are his wife, Betty Mohler Miller; a daughter and son-in-law, Gail M. and Richard Clark, Buena Vista; a son, Robert Lee Miller, Roanoke; four sisters, Katherine M. Davis and Lillie M. Reid, both of Lexington; Emma M. Collins, Keswick, Va.; Bessie M. Dunbar, Eagle Rock, Va.; one brother, Francis L. Miller, Natural Bridge Station; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 1992, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roy Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Broad Creek Church Cemetery. Family suggests memorial donations to the Glasgow First Aid Crew. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
