I WOULD like to thank this newspaper and staff writers Dale Eisman, Rob Eure and Greg Schneider for their most informative article March 1 about political-action committees.

To think that during these hard times, almost $5 million was given to influence legislators who were elected by the people back home. Money can buy anything? That's not whistling "Dixie."

This PAC information cannot be obtained by the average individual because of the cost, and I just want to say this is what I call a service to the readers of your paper.
