Dora Bell Murray Slone, age 80, of Knollridge Road, Salem, died March 10, 1992 in Lewis Gale Hospital. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stewart and Margaret Murray; a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Carl Farmer, all of Salem; also a nephew and two nieces, Michael Hickok and wife, Rebecca, Roanoke; Mrs. Virginia Callaham and husband, Frank, Vinton; and Mrs. Georgia Campbell, Thaxton. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Mike Nevling officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Ft. Lewis Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society.
