Patty DuPuis got two proclamations from the town, as manager of the school's state-champion girls' volleyball team this year and as manager of the girls' state basketball championship team in 1989.
Kim Kincer also received recognition. The senior is the only student in the school's history to have played on two state championship teams.
Members of the basketball team received a key to the town, as well as a resolution honoring them and their coaches, Lillie Moore and assistant Mike Robinson.
A team of math students also was recognized at the special assembly for having raised more than $1,600 for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
