`VICTORY GARDEN' HOST TO LEAD LECTURES

Jim Wilson, host of the PBS series "Victory Garden," will lead free lectures on landscaping March 28.

The lectures will be held at Virginia Western Community College's auditorium and arboretum in Roanoke. At 10 a.m., a lecture on landscaping with wildflowers will be presented; at 1 p.m., the lecture will be on landscaping with container plants; and at 3 p.m., the lecture will be a plant doctor clinic for gardeners with questions and concerns.

The Victory Garden series airs on Blue Ridge Public TV on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m.
