EASING SEXUAL LIMITS CONTRARY TO BIBLE

I AM WRITING in reference to the Feb. 25 news story, "Minister challenges sexual views," by Cody Lowe, and many other similar articles or commentaries regarding liberalization of sexual restrictions within the church.

In the church, the Bible is the highest authority, because it is God's word. It labels some behavior as sin.

On homosexuality, it says: "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." And: "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death." That's what God's law to his people says. FLOYD G. HANCOCK JR. ROANOKE
