OBIT DARNALL, H.

Howard McClean (Neal) Darnall, age 83 of Salem, died Friday at his home. He was retired from Leas and McVitty with 47 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son Phillip Douglas (Pete) Darnall. He is survived by his wife, Eva Barbour Darnall; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Lee and Barbara Darnall; Norman E. and Carolyn B. Darnall, son, Howard Richard Darnall, all of Salem; his sister, Mildred D. Collins, Salem; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16 at 12:00 noon at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Howell Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salem Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
