WFNR will begin monthly remote broadcasts from the New River Fairgrounds gymnasium on March 21 at 7 p.m. This month's performance is by the New River Valley Fiddle, Banjo and Dance Club.
WUVT begins its "Radiothon" fund-raiser March 23-29. A pledge for a tune will help keep the student-operated station going. One of the special programs during the fund-raiser is "Composers From Behind the Rusty Curtain" at 6-9 a.m. that Wednesday.
