KENNEDY TO MARRY D.C. LAWYER

Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., Saturday announced plans to marry Washington lawyer Victoria Reggie, 38, a divorced mother of two and a Kennedy family friend.

In a statement released by his office, Kennedy, 60, said, "I've known her for many years. We began dating last June, and she has brought enormous happiness into my life. I look forward to our marriage and our life together." The wedding will take place at an unspecified date and place later this year. - The Washington Post
