Bobby Prince, a leading Lord Botetourt athlete, and Billy Pope, who led Northside to the Blue Ridge District tournament, will receive top honors tonight as the player and coach of the year on the Salem and Botetourt County Kiwanis Clubs' All Roanoke Valley Scholastic Basketball Team.

Dennis Layman will receive the Rex T. Mitchell Memorial Award as the outstanding official during the 24th annual Kiwanis Clubs' awards banquet at Salem Holiday Inn.

William Fleming will receive the sportsmanship trophy.
