QUALITY HEALTH CARE ONLY FOR RICH

IN RESPONSE to Erminie Wright's commentary on health care (March 11), I'd like to quote the comments of Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professor Noam Chomsky:

"This is the only state-capitalist industrial society that doesn't have even the normal social contract that you find in comparable societies. Outside of South Africa, this is the only industrial society that doesn't have national health care."

So far, I've had a brother and both my father and mother die because quality health care is only for the wealthy, and for our cruel and corrupt congressmen. I don't expect to live long enough to see a national health plan go into effect in the United States of America. It would not be profitable. JACK FRAZIER PETERSTOWN, WV
