ANDERSON, SAMUEL E. Samuel Eugene (Shorty) Anderson, age 66, died Tuesday. He is survived by his wife, Helen K. Anderson; one daughter, Susette (Sissy) Sawyers, Roanoke; two sons, Ronnie Anderson, Roanoke; Craig Anderson, Eagle Rock; stepmother, Mary Anderson; three sisters, Delma Lively, Bedford; Betty Hipes, Clifton Forge; Barbara Kern, Eagle Rock; one brother, Herman Anderson, Iron Gate; grandchildren, Wade Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Mark Conner, Candice Plum. Funeral will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Eagle Rock Baptist Church with burial in the Eagle Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 at the Eagle Rock Funeral Home.
