COGAR GETS ALL-AMERICA HONOR

Donna Cogar, who helped lead 11th-ranked Roanoke College to its second consecutive Old Dominion Athletic Conference title and an NCAA Division III women's basketball tournament berth, was selected to the Kodak All-America team announced Friday.

Cogar, from Stuarts Draft, led the Maroons in scoring with a 13.3 average and in rebounding at 7.1, and she blocked a team-record 44 shots. She was chosen the ODAC player of the year and ODAC tournament MVP. - Staff report
