LITERARY FESTIVAL PLANNED FOR MARCH 13

Hollins College will hold its 33rd Annual Literary Festival March 13.

The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with registration and coffee in the college's Main Building.

Writers Carolyn Chute ("The Beans of Egypt, Maine") and Brett Laidlaw will read from their fiction this year while Larry Levis reads from his poetry.

The first reading will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Dana Science Building's Babcock Auditorium. An afternoon panel discussion of selected poems will be led by Levis, Cathryn Hankla and Jeanne Larsen.

A reception ends the festival in Dana Lounge.

The festival is free.
