OBIT COX, CLARA LOUISE

COX, Clara Louise, 84, of Salem, died Sunday, February 28, 1993 in a Roanoke nursing home. She was a retired writer for the Department of Transportation, U.S. Army. She is survived by two sons, Stuart M. Cox Jr., Hillsville, David B. Cox, Missouri City, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Margaret) Summerlin, Salem; a sister, Virginia Ellis, Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 1993 at Arlington National Cemetery with Dr. Robert T. Copenhaver officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Cox to the National Audubon Society. Arrangements are by Lotz Salem Chapel.
