OBIT DILLON, TOLITHA JONES

DILLON, Tolitha Jones, 80, of 308 Pell Avenue, Rocky Mount, died Sunday morning, February 28, 1993, in Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was born July 13, 1912, and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and retired from Dupont after 33 1/2 years service. Surviving are her husband, Redia W. Dillon of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, G. M. and Pate Cobbs of Wirtz, Va.; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Page Shepherd of Rocky Mount, Va. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Debbie Dudley, Cathy Cobbs, Mitch Cobbs, and Richard Shepherd; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 1993, from Lynch Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. T. Ivey Adams with interment to follow in the Franklin Memorial Park. Visitation will begin after 3 p.m. Monday at Lynch Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9.
