OBIT DUDLEY, NELLIE LEE

DUDLEY, Nellie Lee, 84, of Lexington, died Saturday, February 27, 1993 at her residence. Mrs. Dudley was born August 23, 1908 in Rockbridge County. A daughter of the late James Dudley and Lucy Hannah Smith Dudley. She was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Herman Dudley. Surviving are three daughters and seven sons, Mrs. Edith Clark, Lexington, Va., Edgar J. Dudley, Lexington, Va., Fred W. Dudley, Lexington, Va., O. Lee Dudley, Lexington, Va., Wilton E. Dudley, Natural Bridge, Va., Mrs. Lucy Marshall, Natural Bridge, Va., Homer C. Dudley, Lexington, Va., Jo Anne Moore, Lexington, Va., O. Jackson Dudley, Lexington, Va., Wayne C. Dudley, Houston, Texas; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 1993 from the Lexington Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert M. Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Rapps Mill Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Lexington Lifesaving Crew or the Effinger Fire Department. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
