GREENING AMERICA TOPIC OF TALK AT EMORY & HENRY
Environmentalist Mike Clark, a former president of both the Environmental Policy Institute and the Friends of the Earth, will speak Monday at Emory & Henry College on "Greening America: Environmentalism in the '90s."Clark is now director of the Whetstone Project, which provides technical assistance to grass-roots environmental organizations. His talk, at 7:30 p.m. in Memorial Chapel, is free.
He will give his views on corporate responsibility for the environment, ways to stop conspicuous consumption in America, and whether environmental equity and social justice are possible in the U.S. - Southwest bureau
