HEARTY EATERS RAISE $2,200 TO FIGHT DISEASE
How long does it take to eat 46 platters of ribs?The folks at Corning found out when they got together to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
A dozen employees raised more than $2,200 during the "Rib-o-Thon" recently at the Texas Steak House and Saloon in Christiansburg.
The top fund-raiser was David Osterbauer. The biggest rib eater was Barry Gilbert with six racks. Other participants were Paul Eicher, Larry Galliher, Roger Hill, Lisa Jacks, Todd Linkous, Dave Moore, Mike Parks, John Price, Bill Turner, and Bob Hoover, plant manager.
