OBIT REID, RUTH E.

REID, Ruth E., 75, of Wellspring House, Albany, N.Y., died March 1, 1993, following a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Marquerete McAskill Bethune and was born in Baddeck Nova Scotia and lived in Cobleskill, N.Y., Kingston, N.Y. and Roanoke (Daleville) before moving to Albany in November 1992. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Cobleskill, N.Y. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy X. Reid in 1991. Surviving are two sons, Robert E. Reid (CPA), Rotterdam, N.Y.; Cmdr. William E. Reid, Woodbridge; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 8 Mountain View Ave., Albany, N.Y., 12208. Arrangements by the Demarco-Stone Funeral Home, Rotterdam, N.Y.
