DOWNTOWN MERCHANTS GIVING SCHOLARSHIPS

The Downtown Merchants of Blacksburg are accepting applications for two $1,000 scholarships through March 15.

Candidates for the $1,000 scholarships are to judged on grade-point average, extracurricular activities and special interests. One scholarship is for an minority student.

Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors at Virginia Tech are eligible. Applications are available at all member businesses. For more information, call Steve Miller at 552-7720.
