OBIT PUGH, ARTLEY BANE

PUGH, Artley Bane, 73, of Bluefield, W.Va., died Thursday, March 4, 1993 in a Bluefield Hospital. He was born in Wytheville, Va., son of the late James O. Rich and Nannie Virginia Keyes Pugh. He was a retired driver with the Hemmingway Trucking Company, member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bluefield, former mission worker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Germaine B. Pugh; one brother and one sister. Survivors are his wife, Cheryl G. Gwinn Pugh; sons, Jack David Pugh of Asbury, Md., Jimmy L. Pugh of Maryland; daughter, Mary Angelina Sennett of Stewarts Town, Pa.; one brother, Emmett D. Pugh of Asbury, Md.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with the Rev. Paul Pugh and the Rev. T. C. Turner officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at the Slemp Family Cemetery at Sugar Grove, Va. Friends may call at the Dudley Memorial Mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
