OBIT BROOKS, MACEO SR.

BROOKS, Maceo Sr., of Roanoke, died Thursday, March 4, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Wright Brooks, Roanoke; one son, Maceo Brooks Jr., Greensboro, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Wright, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Virginia Jones, Newberg, Ind.; one brother, Robert L. and June Brooks, Woodbridge, Va.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Beatrice Brooks, Roanoke; daughter-in-law, Becky Brooks, grandson, Diangelo Stanley Brooks, both of Christiansburg. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Fizer Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Noel C. Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in the Cave Springs Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
