OBIT DOUDIKEN, MADGE LADUE

DOUDIKEN, Madge LaDue, 74, of Roanoke, died Thursday, March 4, 1993 at her home. She was born July 9, 1918 in Fairfax Station, Va., a daughter of the late Fredrick Brooks LaDue and Eva Alice Thompson LaDue. She was a member of the Roanoke Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by one son, Timothy Alan Doudiken, Roanoke; one daughter, Theresa Eileen Merritt, Manassas; one sister, Mary LaDue Ramey, Anandale, Va.; two brothers, George W. LaDue, Covington, Fredrick B. LaDue, Broad Run, Va.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 8, 1993 at 7 p.m. at the Roanoke Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Pastor Jim Richards officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roanoke Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1701 Memorial Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24015. Arrangements by Carder-Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Bedford.
