OBIT BOWYER, LARRY WAYNE SR.

BOWYER, Larry Wayne Sr., 43, of Lexington, died Monday, March 1, 1993 at his residence. He was born December 20, 1949 in Lexington, a son of the late Emory Wilson Bowyer Sr. and Carrie Lee McGuffin Bowyer, and was a member of the Manley Memorial Baptist Church, Lexington. Mr. Bowyer is survived by a son, Larry Wayne Bowyer Jr.; a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Bowyer, both of Buena Vista; two sisters, Lillian Elizabeth Bowyer, Baltimore, Md., Barbara Ann Bowyer, Lexington; two brothers, Emory Wilson Bowyer Jr., Lexington, James Hunter Bowyer, Marshalltown, Iowa; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside on Sunday, March 7, 1993, at 3 p.m. at the Timber Ridge A.R.P. Cemetery with Dr. Thomas G. Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
