OBIT MABRY, JOSEPH WALTER

MABRY, Joseph Walter, 80, of Lexington, died Friday, March 5, 1993. He was born August 28, 1912, in Carroll County, Va., a son of the late Elbert E. Mabry and Laura Emma Martin Mabry. He was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church and was a retired spinning supervisor for Lees Carpet. He is survived by his wife, Wayne Paxton Mabry, Lexington; a daughter, Nancy Mabry Christenson, Bel Air, Md.; two sons, Albert W. (Bert) Mabry, Lexington, Randall W. Mabry, Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Martha Tyree, Fairfield; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 8, 1993 at 11 a.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Dr. L. Randolph Harrison officiating with burial to follow in the Timber Ridge A.R.P. Cemetery, Lexington. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
