FOR THE RECORD

An item in the Names & Changes column of Sunday's Business section contained several errors, as a result of an editorial assistant's mistake and incorrect information supplied by a source. The item concerned members of the Valley Council of Professional Arborists who were certified by the International Society of Arboriculture. The mistakes involved identification of Dennis Duff of Arbor Care Tree Service and Peter Feret of Virginia Tech's Department of Forestry.

Because of a reporter's error, the location of a lecture by author Bernard Cornwell was incorrect in an article on Sunday's book page. The lecture will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Massengill Auditorium on the campus of Roanoke College.
