IN SCHOOL

THE ARTS COUNCIL OF THE BLUE RIDGE has selected 26 students to participate in the 1993 Center Scholarship Program.

They are: Ellen Brenner of North Cross School; Brandi Barber, Amy Lester, James Powell and Jennifer Stokes of Salem High School; David Dalton and Brian Minter of William Byrd High School; Patrick Derriso and Jennifer Spigle of Glenvar High School; Shaleigh Wright, Colleen Luci, Christine Boutilier, Will Karr, Alycia Phoenix and Huyen Campbell of Cave Spring High School; Erin Thomas, Richard Beal Jr., Sarah Honer, Mariana Abraham, Ellen Harris, Andy Marchal, Mark Feldman, Melanie Swiercinski, Jonathan Hunley and Lindsay Carmichael of Patrick Henry High School; and Elizabeth Jones of Staunton River High School.

This year's program integrates writing with hands-on experiences in theater, drawing and photography.
