OBIT-LOCHER, THOMAS EARL JR.
LOCHER, Thomas Earl Jr., 57, of Albrightsville, Pa., died Monday, March 8,
1993 in the Pocono Medical Center. He was born in N.Y. City the son of Earl
Thomas Locher, Sr. and the late Grace Walker Locher. He was a resident of
Carbon County since 1988 and formerly of Roanoke. He was the Director of
Distribution of Drakes Bakery in Wayne, N.J. with over 36 years service. He
was a veteran in the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Korean War Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Tate Holdren Locher; father, Earl Thomas
Locher, Sr.; three sons, Thomas Mario Locher of Roanoke, Michael Holdren of
Brea, Calif., Mark Holdren of Mansfield, Mass.; two daughters, Deborah Locher
and Elizabeth Locher, both of Roanoke; four grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; one sister, Darlene Cane of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; one
nephew. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel
by Rev. Harold Moyer with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Memorials may
be made to the American Cancer Society, Monroe County, 196 Washington Street,
East Stroudsburg, Pa. 18301. The family will receive friends after 10 a.m.
Friday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
